The Little Footprints Experience
Your child will be ready to transit to primary school with the skills and confidence gained during his/her preschool years.
With lessons conducted in both English and Mandarin, children are exposed and given opportunities to listen, speak, read and write in these languages. Through the lessons, our children can also master the basics of both languages.
We make sure that our children are always in touch with the community by collaborating closely with our families and partner organisation on meaningful experiences. Children will understand more about the world around them and develop good values from the engagement.
Purposeful activities allow children to become active constructors of knowledge, providing a multitude of opportunities for hands-on learning. These opportunities nurture children’s love for learning and allow them to discover and make meaning of their learning independently.
Our Programmes
Infant Care
Through a nurturing approach, our Blooming Minds curriculum forms connections in the minds of our children through interactions. A safe, conducive and respectful environment with purposefully planned spaces makes way for interactions and stimulations, strengthening the bond between teachers and child.
This approach also allows your child the freedom of movement and opportunities to problem-solve within the environment. Children will develop their innate competence and meet their developmental needs and capabilities.
Early Years (Playgroup and Pre-Nursery)
Our programmes are based on play activities and experiences that build on children’s interests, curiosity and their natural quest for knowledge through discovery and active hands-on explorations.
We provide opportunities for children to develop holistically in areas such as early language, early numeracy, physical development, aesthetics and creative expression and social emotional development.
Sensorial and natural experiences, both indoors and outdoors, are interwoven into each developmental area to ensure that children use their senses to make sense of the world around them.
Preschool Years (Nursery, Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2)
We adopt an integrated approach for theme-based learning through experiential and progressive methods. We keep the learning process engaging and prepare our children with skills that are crucial for formal schooling.
The themes are carefully selected to incorporate Multicultural Education, History, Geography, Environmental Education and Character Development. Within the planned activities, all key learning areas as described in the Nurturing Early Learners Framework (NEL) are meaningfully designed and integrated.

We would like to express our gratitude to the team of amazing teachers and staff.
Adzin's teachers are kind, caring and passionate individuals who are devoted to nurturing young children. The affection and personal attention not only helped Adzin settle in well, but also allowed him to fully experience the joy of growing up. We find conversations with them comfortable as they are honest, open-minded and sincere at giving opinions.
With consistent support and encouragement from his teachers, Adzin has benefitted so much through lessons and play. He is warmly greeted every morning and comes home excited and eager to share what he has learnt with us. We are delighted to see the tremendous improvement Adzin has made over the last 2 years. Bryan adapted to the school very quickly, thanks to the teachers' warm welcome. His social skills have improved within a month and he tells me who his favourite friends are.
We enjoy preparing for Tick Tock, It's Time to Talk and Bond 'Thru' Reading programmes. Through Tick Tock, It's Time to Talk, Bryan learns to speak confidently to friends and peers. Bond 'Thru' Reading gives him a deep understanding on the books he reads while thinking and imagining further.

(Kindergarten 2)
Josiah absolutely loves his schooling experience. He is always chattering about his friends and tells us what they have been up to. He is also very independent as he understands his responsibilities and does his best to do them well.
The teachers are definitely the strongest asset of Little Footprints Preschool @ Yio Chu Kang. They are always so kind and generous towards the children. Josiah always comes home excited about the games he played today while learning. I completely trust Josiah's welfare and growth in the hands of this team of amazing and capable teachers.

(Nursery)
Jaelyn became more independent and sociable after attending school. She showed improvement in her articulation of words and began forming sentences. She has also learnt creative ways of expressing her feelings and emotions.
The interactions with teachers and principal have also been pleasant thus far. We get updates from teachers regularly and they have been responsive to our queries.
We are glad to have sent Jaelyn to Little Footprints Preschool and will definitely send our second child there as well.

Danish has been attending Little Footprints at Bishan since playgroup. He is now able to articulate better, read and do additions and subtractions. Also, I see that he is more responsible and helpful at home.
He has lots of fun with the teachers and his classmates in school. The teachers give good advice and we are constantly updated of his well-being and progress.
We go to work knowing that he is in a safe and good environment. Thank you for developing Danish!
